Bailey Stewart

Hello! My name is Bailey Stewart and I am a freshman here at Simpson College. I made this piece in my junior year of high school, and I believe it took me well over 20 hours to create. This was a still-life assignment I had in my drawing class that fall semester. This is one of my favorite artworks that I have done and the one I am most proud of. This piece also made me fall in love with graphite as a medium.  I titled the piece “Writer’s Block” because I was having a bit of writer’s block myself and couldn’t think of a different title at the time!
